DEF CON 34 ran August 6 to 9, 2026 at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall, and PWNLAB was there on the vendor floor, alongside our friends at Electronic Cats, who once again made the official DEF CON vendor list.
If you stopped by, you got to pick up every board we build instead of just looking at photos of them. Here is what was on the table.
CatSniffer v3
Our multiprotocol, multiband USB stick for sniffing, talking to and attacking IoT radios. The TI CC1352 plus a Semtech SX1262 covers LoRa, Sub-1 GHz and 2.4 GHz in a 90 x 20 mm board, and the RP2040 USB bridge means no driver wrangling. It drops straight into Wireshark, Sniffle, zigbee2mqtt and TI’s Packet Sniffer 2.
Minino
The kitten-shaped ESP32-C6 pocket lab, built as an Electronic Cats and PwnLabs collaboration. Wi-Fi sniffing, deauth and deauth detection, BLE tracker scanning and spamming, Zigbee and Thread capture straight to .pcap on microSD, plus GPS WarDriving. All of it on a board that runs off three AAA cells.
FaultyCat
Low-cost fault injection for people who want to learn it properly. Firmware v3.0.0.0 is a clean-sheet rewrite for the v2.x hardware, shipping two engines (EMFI and Crowbar voltage glitching) and two modes: Direct single-shot, and Campaign sweeps across delay, width and power. Watching a target fall into a faulted state is a much better demo in person than in a README.
Flipper Add-On: Ethernet
The $25 way to give a Flipper Zero a wired network interface, over the Microchip ENC28J60. The companion app hit v1.1.2.1 with a Port Scanner, OS Detector and Ping on top of the ARP scanning, ARP spoofing and PCAP capture it already did. Plug and play, no Flipper modifications, MIT-licensed app.
Open by default
Everything above is open source and open hardware: firmware under AGPL/GPL, hardware under CERN-OHL, the Flipper app under MIT. That is the whole point. You can read it, fork it, break it and build something better on top of it. It is also why a vendor table at DEF CON matters to us more than a booth anywhere else.
